I had a mixed experience at Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Mission Valley/Stadium. The location is fantastic, making it easy to access downtown and local attractions, and the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. However, I did encounter some issues, such as inconsistent housekeeping and minor maintenance concerns within the hotel.

Rooms
8.0
I found the rooms comfortable, with a large shower and a cozy bed. However, there were some maintenance issues like stains on carpets and a sink faucet that didn’t function well, causing water to splash everywhere.
Service
6.0
The staff was hospitable and very friendly, especially when I requested an early check-in due to my travel schedule. But, I experienced poor communication regarding housekeeping services, which was quite frustrating during my stay.
Location
9.0
The hotel’s location is excellent! It’s just a couple of blocks from I-15 and only a short drive away from downtown San Diego, making it easy to explore the area. Plus, it's really quiet and feels removed from congestion.
Dining
9.0
Dining options were impressive, with a nice variety and the choice of hot items made to order. It definitely exceeded my expectations for a hotel restaurant.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities, including the meeting rooms and lobby area, were nice, but I noticed some wear and tear around the hotel, which detracted from the overall impression. There were also some issues with room service that could be improved.

I had a bit of a mixed experience at the Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Mission Valley/Stadium. While the staff were consistently friendly and helpful, I encountered several issues that dampened my stay. The cleanliness of the room was questionable, and I faced challenges with the internet connectivity and parking fees that felt unnecessary…

Rooms
5.0
The room had some cleanliness concerns. I found the pillowcases wrinkled, and there was dust on the bed. Although the overall appearance was okay, small details needed attention. Some features, like the light noise from the a.c. fan, could be bothersome.
Service
5.0
The service was a bit disjointed. Even though the staff was friendly and professional, I felt that requests like extra towels were overlooked. I did appreciate Olivia's attentiveness, but overall, the service could be more organized.
Location
5.0
While the hotel has a decent location with shopping nearby, I felt uneasy walking around the area. The parking situation was frustrating, and I had difficulties maneuvering in the oddly shaped parking lot.
Dining
5.0
I tried the breakfast buffet, which had a nice variety but was on the pricier side. I felt it could be better, especially compared to other Hilton Garden Inns I've visited.
Facilities
5.0
The fitness center looked inviting, and I did notice some amenities available, but I didn’t utilize them this time. That said, the pool area seemed to lack enough towels when I went to ask.

I had an overall decent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Mission Valley/Stadium. The amenities were nice and the staff was friendly, but there were some issues that left me disappointed, particularly with cleanliness and noise levels.

Rooms

I found the room size to be good for my needs, featuring a comfy bed and a large shower. However, I did notice some cleanliness issues, like a towel that was soaked with water from previous guests and an unpleasant odor from cleaning chemicals.
Service
5.0
While the staff was generally friendly, my check-in experience was not great. The front desk staff seemed misinformed about my reservation, which added unnecessary stress on arrival. I would have appreciated more professionalism and efficiency.
Location
6.0
The hotel is conveniently located, just a couple of blocks from the highway and close to several restaurants. It was a quiet area, although I did wish I was closer to public transportation since I was traveling alone and preferred not to drive more than necessary.
Dining
6.0
The on-site restaurant had decent offerings and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, I felt that a bit more variety in the menu would have enhanced my dining experience.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel boasts good facilities, but I did find some maintenance issues that needed attention. There were visible wear marks and stains throughout the hotel, indicating a lack of upkeep.

During my stay at Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Mission Valley/Stadium, I encountered a mix of positives and challenges. While the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel were commendable, the added fees for parking caught me off guard. Additionally, although the staff was generally courteous, I experienced some inconsistency in service quality.

Rooms
7.0
My room was bigger than I expected, and it was clean and nicely appointed. However, I found the bed uncomfortable, which affected my sleep quality throughout my stay.
Service
5.0
The front desk staff was friendly and attentive, though I did run into a couple of employees who were less than helpful. Overall, the service was hit or miss.
Location
8.0
The location of the hotel is excellent, just a short drive from many of San Diego's main attractions, but it can get a bit noisy at night from the surrounding area.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were quite good, though I wished there were more choices on the menu. I enjoyed the food I ordered, and the coffee available in the lobby was a nice touch.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offers solid facilities, but I found some aspects lacking, such as the USB chargers in my room that didn't work properly.

My stay at Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Mission Valley/Stadium had its ups and downs. The room was quite nice and spacious, living up to my expectations. However, the location left something to be desired, nestled alongside a shopping center that felt a bit run-down. Parking was a hassle, especially in the evenings, and the staff could have been more communicative.

Rooms
8.0
My room was a beautiful king balcony suite, clean and modern. I felt very comfortable during my stay.
Service
6.0
Most of the staff were friendly, but I did have a frustrating experience at the front desk when I needed a late checkout. It felt like there could have been better communication.
Location
7.0
The hotel is conveniently close to the major attractions in San Diego, though the immediate area was somewhat lacking in charm.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast options were limited and somewhat confusing at first, as I didn’t know I could order from a menu until after I settled in. However, the food came out tasty.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like parking were not ideal during busy times, and I noticed a lack of attention to maintenance on some amenities, like the spa, which was out of service.
